Project description.  This project evaluates the potential use of floating wetlands for removing organic contaminants from surface water.  Specific projects will evaluate 1) the fate of organic contaminants inside of plants once taken up, and 2) effects of plant densities on contaminant removal from surface water using mesocosms.  There is some flexibility to add other dimensions depending on the interests of the successful candidate.  Available immediately.   For more information, contact Dr. Chris Wilson (pcwilson@ufl.edu)
