Dr. Sabo-Attwood Awarded University Term Professorship

On Friday June 21st, Dr. Michael Perri, Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Professions, announced that Dr. Tara Sabo-Attwood, Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental and Global Health, was awarded a University Term Professorship Award.

Each academic year, 250 Term Professorships are distributed among UF colleges according to the number of eligible faculty. These esteemed awards recognize academic accomplishment, and recipients are typically nominated by college leadership and faculty advisory committees. Dr. Sabo-Attwood joined EGH in 2011 as an Associate Professor. Since then, she has become internationally recognized for outstanding research contributions to the field of nanotoxicology, mentorship of more than 80  students, and leadership in support for empowering women in science.
